Guest guest
Hi Kanala, thanks for sharing your photos with all of us. Without the before pictures, I can't tell how far you've come, but girl you're looking pretty hot right now. No cellulite?? How did you do it?? I can't wait until I'm able to throw on a pair of jeans, with a short little leather jacket. Sigh...a girl can dream can't she? lol Keep up the great work, and don't lose that bright rosey smile. I can't wait to see your accomplishments in the near future. If you ever decide to post the interview here in the group, I'll be one of the first one's to check it out. Great job!! Guest guest
thanks for the compliments. I didnt' post the interview because 1. i'd have to type it all out and 2. I wasn't sure if any one would be interested. As for a before picture, I'd have to scan something and I don't have a scanner. Maybe someday I'll do that. (and you know what? I can push my tummy out quite a bit to look like I " m several months pregnant, still! LOL) So since you asked, lol, here it is. It's short, but to the point. The article was a 2 page spread with 3 photos (the other one was me walking away from the camera, blurred for effect) with the article on top of one of the pics. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ " After my pregnancy years ago I felt big. I would look in the mirror and all I could see was belly and chubby legs. My pants were tight and sometimes it was hard to breathe. Then last year there were aspects of a relationship that I didn't have any power over and I realized that I could control my body and what I put into it. I got rid of chips, ice cream and buttery popcorn (my downfall) and started eating more fruits and vegetables. With the help of some of my friends from chatelaine.com forums, I started to run. My pants began to get baggy so I went out and bought over $200 on four pairs of jeans and seven tops. I was giddy for 2 days. I'm single now and I'm not looking to someone else for affirmation. I pull out my mental list of positive points. My calves are nice and firm from all the walking I've done all my life. My boobs are droopy because I've lost 35 lbs but they hold special meaning because they nursed my babies. I'm glad I was confident enough to get my body back on track. Now when I look in the mirror I think, " damn, I look good! " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note: Spent $200 US in Detroit, found some great shops and I bought more than mentioned - about 3 bras, a couple of sweaters, etc. The prices in the states are to die for!!! May go back in the next week or two so dtr's can buy some clothing for school (college and U) Sandy/Kanala
Guest guest
Hi Sandy, thanks for posting the article. Depending on what your ex- husband weighs, now that you're single, you can add his poundage to your weight loss. lol If your boobs are droopy after losing 35 lbs, mine are sure to touch my toes after losing all my fat and having children. Oh well, at least I'll be able to see my toes. LOL
Guest guest
meh, I think everyone's boobs droops over time. I did lose weight in them as well, requiring smaller cup bras. > Hi Sandy, thanks for posting the article.
