Hey all,

Sorry I haven't written lately. I have had a very bad few weeks. First off, the judge ruled on the case concerning my children. She terminated my parental rights to my children just because I am disabled. My attorney has filed an appeal and sent me a copy of it and boy has she royally pissed him off! He went off about the fact that no one has ever tried to help me learn to cope with being a single mother of two children, one of them being special needs, working full-time and attending college full-time...on top of dealing with multiple medical problems and that the only "help" I have ever received was never directly done in the home, only in artificial settings like social services or daycare. So I have been trying to handle that emotionally.

The new quarter started up at school on the 3rd and the first few weeks I tend to get overwhelmed until I get settled into a groove about the 4th week. I've already had to request to drop my Thursday night class due to everything going on.

Then I ended up in the ER Thursday night with extreme side pain. I had been having the episodes on and off for a few months but was being stubborn about going in. I knew it wasn't the pleurisy pain I sometimes get in the winter. They told me I am having problems with my gallbladder. I've been scheduled for an ultrasound for Thursday to tell if its gallstones or just cholecystitis. Either way, due to the apparent history of gallbladder problems in my family they are recommending removing my gallbladder before gallstones end up blocking the small bile duct and causing pancreatitis like it has in my uncle. So I'm looking at surgery most likely within the month.

And now my darn ear wont drain! I went to karaoke tonight and had much problems singing because my right ear kept clogging up and then popping, causing pain. When it rains, it pours I guess!

Best regards,

Gilbertson
