Hi Keri: See my recent blog on going to a bottle signing with CC. http://anyasgarden.blogspot.com/2007/12/just-for-fun-i-met-clive-christian_07.ht\ ml Definitely synths in there. I asked him if the juice was all-natural, and he looked a bit stunned, and quickly said with a smile " speak to my spokesperson " - my daughter . She diplomatically said they do use modern aromachems to augment the naturals. 24 hours later the one scent strip I had was awash with a very common synth musk that I do not know the name of, but the other higher-note synths were evident at first sniff. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden of Natural Perfume http://AnyasGarden.com - rare and exotic aromatics and artisan perfumes, perfumery classes and consultation Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com

No big brand has come with a natural perfume yet as it is not commercially viable. As we all agree, the choice of wearing a natural NON-BRANDED perfume belongs to the consumer... Unfortunately, like the organic trend, the 'natural' one is also becoming confusing since so many 'commercial' companies use the word falsely. Maybe the magazine will have some pointers towards the Guild, which would be nice. I work very hard to get the word out, and the Guild stands for natural fragrance (but it's still a baby in terms of years on the planet and numbers compared to the big companies!) I'll be writing a regular column on Basenotes starting soon (the final photos aren't in, other little glitches) and that forum reaches thousands of perfumistas worldwide. Hopefully, that column will help spread the word, as many industry insiders read Basenotes. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden of Natural Perfume http://AnyasGarden.com - rare and exotic aromatics and artisan perfumes, perfumery classes and consultation Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com
