Guest guest Posted September 6, 2005 Report Share Posted September 6, 2005 I had my resting metabolic rate tested this morning by the registered nurse who contracts with the gym. My rate was 1,420 calories burned by doing nothing but living in a day. She suggested I eat between 1,600 - 1,700 calories to lose weight. I am definitely going to be hungry I think 1,800 calories seems a good number for me but then again I'm not losing any weight <I want my cake and eat it too sigh>.
