Guest guest
Dear , Go to http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/Index.html to figure out your carb grams. They offer a free account, but you have to sign up. It's quite interesting, and can figure out how much fats, protein, etc. you are consuming. This might help you a lot. Guest guest
Hi - When I checked out my diet on fitday I found it was about 70% good fat, 25% protein and 5% carbs. Calories is not what the WAP diet is about, it's about getting plenty of good fats and protein. Plus the fact that fats are higher in calories. Calories should not be counted as a measure of what is healthy for you. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Thanks a lot. I don't think I'll use it though; I don't plan on restricting the amounts of vegetables and fruits I eat. I was just curious. I think 2 pounds of veggies/fruit amounts to about 100 grams of carbs. If so that means I have about 150 grams a day which isn't too bad. -
Guest guest
My high fat is mostly from coconut oil that I take by the tablespoonfuls straight (so to speak) before every meal. I'm up to about 6 tablespoonfuls per day along with 2 tbls. of olive oil (for the Vitamin E). I eat cream, creme fraiche, yogurt, kefir, olive oil, lots of butter, cheese, and I use them mixed and interchangeably on meats and veggies. And I have one serving a day of yogurt mixed with creme fraiche and fresh fruit, after 2 tbls. of coconut oil. My use of all fats, as well as Celtic sea salt, is extremely liberal. My snack foods are cheese or yogurt. I rarely have grains of any kind because I don't do well on them at all. For breakfast I have raw eggs mix with cream or cooked eggs and bacon (on the weekend). I have veggies on butter, rather than the other way around (like swimming in it). I find that one day I eat normally, and the next day I'm not very hungry, so like the mice in the study I'm on a day and off a day. My weight is fairly normal. I am 61 years old, 5' 6 " tall and wear size 12. Since starting this regime my energy level has improved a lot. Maybe I was an Eskimo in my past life. LOL!
