When I listed information, for the too common American stroke experiences, I was NOT inferring any sort of implication as to what 's experience is. Not at all. I did add to my intended wish for a speedy recovery, the health and responses for any of us, or our family who may experience or suspect we're experiencing a stroke. Because I posted the layman's appropriate response to a stroke in the same message I'm afraid someone may have concluded the list member's stroke was of any particular level. I did not mean to, I never assume anything. As Anya said, our list member telephoned, was clearly thoughtful and able to be thoughtful and to communicate- that's a good thing. I've just retired in July from 31 years with Social and Health Services, the last decade with services to the elderly and or disabled, so I shared what " you can do " if you find yourself experiencing, or suspecting you are experiencing a stroke to help yourself have a better outcome than you might otherwise have. Of course if a person has a severe alergy to aspirin, that's not an option. I did not mean to imply or infer any specifics as to the cheeky monkeh's experience is, as I wouldn't have any more information than Anya shared with us. I'll toss another wish 's way, I hope he gets serviced by an equally cheeky nurse! Patti

It did not involved any bad conclusion for , all the more as we don't know precisely when talked by phone with Anya after his stroke. Thank you for your good advises that can save lifes : you remebered me somethin inmportant I forgot : my dad, MD always had aspirin and antihistaminics, and a poison syringe... This morning - it is morning in Europe- I was riding your post and I realized that I did not had at all that precious material in the first-aid kit I forgot in my bathroom since many years. As my dad used to think about having valid aspirin and antihistaminics , I did not got used to think about it, classical..... not good....I decided to buy some new, both for home and both for my bag : might be usefull for me or for anybody needing a quick help I hope that is well cared by gentle nurses and persons like you ! And firmly wait for good news about him..... Bons baisers de France

Strokes are complex, and come in many forms. My brother had a " clot " . Others have a bleed. You info about the warning signs and aspirin were invaluable. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden http://AnyasGarden.com - perfumes, aromatics, classes, consultation Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com 1400 member Natural Perfumery group - /
