> Hello all:

> I have a question about the plant lantana. It grows profusely when

planted here in Arizona and it's fairly pretty to look at. Lately,

I've been attracted to the lovely lemony- spicy scent of the red and

yellow lantana outside my house. The berries, leaves, and flowers all

smell like this amazing fragrance. I've tried to distill all parts of

the plant at different times with no success in capturing that smell.

I'm also tincturing the berries which have so far yielded a bubblegum

like quality. Has anyone ever had any experience working with

lantana? Also, I know it is poisonous to consume, we are told to keep

pets away from it; but is it poisonous through contact?
