List Mom's Year-End Review - the good, the bad, the weird in Natural Perfumery

happy new year to you anya....i am so busy today, having hired two

professional organizers, i have been purging the old, and re-

evaulating the past few weeks, in between shipping holiday and now

spring 1, valentine's day...and designing next fall 2, and holiday

and resort....

life is pretty nutty as i have also been housesitting two cats up in

the berkeley hills above the claremont, in a large 5000 sq ft home

with a view of the entire bay area, and two other cats in my bldg

where my perfume studio is.

i had to cancel my hair appt tonight, but am hoping that i end up

feeling like going out, AS i had an intense workout with my trainer

followed by a three hour session with the professional organizer...it

was an amazing feat of itself, and i managed to break one perfume

bottle in the process, (nothing precious)...and in another

instance....i coordinated perfume bottles and new blends all coming

together.

hope you ring in the new year in good cheer, you sound busy as well.

Hey, anybody who visited -- I just fixed the page. You might have to

refresh the page to see the changes. The html got a little crunched, and

I had to add the links that the blogger site gave me problems with

Thank you Anya for this post. It was really nice reading it. You have

really worked so hard to make this group successful so you deserve

all the success and the best for 2008.

I also would like to say BONNE ANNEE to all the lovely members of the

NP group which I joined in 2007 and thanks to which I learn so much

everyday.

guess year-end reflections are interesting, and I did try for humor and

Hi Libby:

I've been on a major trash removal and renovation binge for about a

month now. Didn't hire anybody (might have to, though, still a bit

unorganized in the office/studio) but boy, has it felt great to get rid

of junk! " Out with the old, in with the new " has never been more

appropriate than at this time of year, especially for me, right now.

I never go out on NYE, and I must say I had a very enjoyable one at home

this year, and today has been absolutely heavenly as far as relaxation

and rest goes. Great day for the start of what looks to be a fabulous

year, and I hope this for everyone :-)

Not busy enough that I didn't hit the champagne, seafood and caviar canapes!
