Guest guest
What is the best and or quickist excersize for the waist/abs. I have that post baby pooch. The child is now 13 years old so I thought it might be time to start loosing it. I will try 40 in 2006 so I have a mission. I would like to fit into single digit clothing !! I started walking last week and wacthing the diet. No more cookies and milk before bed, this was a big weakness. Please send any and all ideas for a new BFL. Thanks Connie
Guest guest
Hi there, good question. I'm sure many will tell you that you can't spot exercise, and that you need to get rid of the 'fat' by doing cardio. That won't guarantee fat loss on your tummy, but will get fat loss everywhere in general. Alas, it'll probably be the last spot to go, as well. I'm 41, in fairly fit shape, but still have my tummy. I'm hoping that the BFL program will take me far enough so that my body is toned and trim, including my tummy (and my baby turned 15 this August!) I do do some ab exercises with a Kathy Ireland video; It lasts 12 minutes and i'm burning while doing it as well as for a time afterwards. I would suggest doing quite a bit of abs - I've read that it doesn't hurt to do them daily. Sandy > What is the best and or quickist excersize for the waist/abs. I have > that post baby pooch. Guest guest
Connie, We are in the same boat! I will turn 40 in 2006 and refuse to do it in the shape I am in now. My oldest is 12, so I too have the long term pouch! Best wishes with your transformation. Know that you aren't alone! -- Abd Excersize What is the best and or quickist excersize for the waist/abs. Guest guest
I might be full of crap, but I'm a Libra, so I'm always weighing both sides of everything. Disclaimer properly in place. I agree with Skwigg if you aren't sore, you didn't get'm. However, I also thing that if you're working through a ridiculous amount of Haagen Daz residue to get to those muscles that you should do abs every day. So I do the muscle media boot camp on cardio days and then I'll do a crunch machine and some other stuff at the end of my workouts on weight days. I do higher reps on weight days and never do what I do on cardio days. The goal on weight days is to just do reps, so I aim for around 300 reps and I'm just really loosening up what I did the day before. The Boot Camp workout is much harder. FWIW.
