Guest guest
Are there natural breaks in the workout so that I can just do 1/2 hour or an hour when I don't have time to do 2 hours. What level is it? Thanks, Jen Darcy Ledman <exercise.junkie@...> wrote: Wow, I just finished All Pump Extreme w/ Amy Bento. What an AWESOME workout. That thing was 2 hours long! I HATE it when they don't put the running time on the covers though. I put it in w/ all intentions of doing 'kickin core' afterwards, but there was no way my husband would allow for nearly a 3-hour workout today..LOL.. so I had to skip cardio. Anyway, the workout starts out w/ some compound exercises, then she moves to lower body, after lower body, she does upper body which consists of 3 different exercises for each body part (excluding forearms). She uses everything in this workout from body bars, medicine ball, dumbells, barbell, gliding discs, and tubing. I really enjoyed the upper body part and am sure I will be feeling it tomorrow. The only thing I didn't like about this workout was the core work. It was mostly standing core work using weights (I think it allw as actually), which felt kind of odd to me, especially since I have still been babying my back. She goes on to the floor to do some awesome plank work which kicked my butt. It really was a great workout and I highly recommend this one! Oh, and the music is upbeat, but no lyrics. I still liked it though. Darcy
Guest guest
Jen, I'm sure there are. There are premixes in the workout, but with that said I have no idea how long the premixes are. But, it wouldn't be hard to stop whever you wanted to either. It is an advanced video, but in my opinion, you can make any workout (almost) work for you. Just simply lower your rates, and go at your own pace. You could handle it Jen DarcyOn 11/23/06, from Michigan <volleyjen0416@...> wrote: Are there natural breaks in the workout so that I can just do 1/2 hour or an hour when I don't have time to do 2 hours. Guest guest
Thanks Darcy, I know I CAN do it! I will just start with very light weights since the moves are more intense. And for the lunges I will only go part way down because I don't trust my knees. When she was doing the pike exercises on the floor what did she have under her feet? She had gloves on but what did she have under her feet? Not sure I can do that one because my living room is carpeted so my feet won't slide like the exercisers did. Guest guest
Hi Jen,Yes that is the correct name. I think collage has it, but I ordered it directly from Amy, if I remember correctly (LOL)She has gliding discs underneath her. You can always use paper plates too. They aren't easy. I was so wiped by that time and barely doing them at all. DarcyOn 11/23/06, from Michigan <volleyjen0416@...> wrote: Darcy, I can't find this workout...? Is that the correct name? Guest guest
paper plates work pretty good, i used to use them for my mindy workouts. dh got some furniture skates from good and they work very well LOL. need more control to use them then paper plates but they go along the same lines of the gliding disc. home depot and lowes usually have them and pretty cheap(compare to the $30 +$15 s/h to order the gliding set) kassiaDarcy Ledman <exercise.junkie@...> wrote: Although I've never tried, they have said paper plates are fine to use on carpet. If you were on hardwood floor, then they say to use rags. Glad you found the workout Jen :)Darcy Check out the all-new beta - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.
