More or less same genetic panel, quite a lot of English research

connections (FWIW!), and some of the people were speakers at top

scientific food conference at Leatherhead recently, so looks OK.

I've emailed them (last week) asking whether their test (cheek swab)

is as accurate as the blood one Yasko offers. Also whether they plan

to offer or can do tests for some of the mutations on the Yasko panel

they're not currently offering on the website. I haven't had a reply

yet.

Worth pursuing them further, do you think?

Definitely science challenged here and the Yasko site allows you to understand first hand what it is like to have autism, it is that chaotic, but I did not think it was too difficult and was able to pinpoint where I think ours is stuck. I took what I thought, applied her suggestions and it was helpful, made me think about it another way.

There are some hard and fast rules. Kids who are more afflicted are this particular thing and kids who are nonverbal have this thing going on. And other kids who are pretty high functioning are likely to have another allele.

Trick is like a lot of boards to find a kid like yours and then follow it down. Also telling is what supplements your child does well or badly on, for example, ours has always had a problem with just DMG and folic acid. This suggests a certain blockage, for us. Where it would get tricky is the kids who react to every supplement and the kids who don't show improvement with much.

Lots of examples of test results so, IMO, don't pay for the direct answer from Yasko herself. Many have said the explanation from Yasko is now automated and the booklet included with every test order explains things adequately.
