Hi Colleen.....

So sorry you have to go through it. Really. I knew that no one

understood what I was going through, no matter how many times I

explained each horrible symptom in detail. I begged even for my

husband to read others' accounts of their withdrawal symptoms, so

that at least he didn't think it was all in my head. It was the

hardest thing to go through. I also did it through 1-3 hours of

sleep...the whole time (I have profound sleep disorders; also, part

of the withdrawal symptoms of course is insomnia).

Tapering that fast is sickening (literally). DOes it have to be

that fast? Why not extend it somewhat? I think that is WAY to

fast. I guess it's for a reason, but does it have to be that way?

Doctors never feel it's a big deal...because they haven't gone

through it. Please insist on doing what you feel is best for

you...it's YOUR body, not his/hers. You know what feels right. I

hope he/she will work WITH you and not in total control of this.

You need tobe in control of your decisions.

Come back here often to this group for support. It can really

help. There is also another group.... " benzoprotracted " and a few

other benzo groups that can help you.

So sorry about the absence of support. I understand.

Try....try...try to find something that will occupy the time. Can

help a bit. NOt much, but a bit.
