Guest guest
Hi, I'm going to try to forward my health story I wrote as my intro - I did this cuz the health problem I have affects my memory so bad. -- [sPAM] Rude people in Drs offices. I'm sorry I just need to vent for a minute. Because yesturday I was told I needed to go to the dr to have my recent hernia surgery incision checked by the medical assistant (Dr.is on vacation for 2 weeks) But they were not going to take my staples out for another week.(I've had issus in the past with my incisions opening up. The med assistant didnt seem to understand this and wanted to take them out anyway. She was very rude espesially for a big hospital in boston. Then I told her that I had a VP Shunt that goes from my brain to my belly (she had no clue what that was) and if my incision opened up they would have to externalize the shunt.(outside my body)so I would not get an infection in my brain. 0h and one last thing we wanted her to look at my incision and she said she didnt have the authority to say if it was infected or not. Has anyone ever encoutered this kind of encomepetency in a Dr's office before espesially in a big hospital.HUGS,
