Guest guest
has been referred by his diagnostician for genetic testing. She says this is routinely carried out following a dx of ASD. Of course we do not have to consent. We did consent to the testing. Can anyone tell me if they have had this done and what if any information of interest was found? I understand Fragile X (which is not applicable in the case of our son) but don't understand what other testing will be done. I really don't want to have any blood taken for superflous reasons! I'm sure he'll be having enough taken over the next year as it is. TIA DarlaLondonDH BobanDS 2 years and 1 month
Guest guest
>>>we had Amniocentesis at 16 weeks into the pregnancy which showed 47XYY - Sam is extra male. It has been useful to know that and figires in why he has ASD and his brrothers don't, plus that filling I had when I was pregnant and Sam was my third delivery in 2 years 2 months so hardly any goodness left in me I guess Mandi x has been referred by his diagnostician for genetic testing.
