Although I cannot attest to emphysema, I can state that i bounce my 41 year old

son who is in a

wheelchair. I put the wheelchair right up to the rebounder and his feet next to

mine and jump away.

This makes him bounce plus it hits against the wheelchair and it also moves. I

feel he benefits greatly

from this exercise.

Joanne, I don't know your son's condition, but if he is able to put

both hands on his chest or over his belly button, this completes the

bodys electrical circuit, and he will receive even more energy to all

the cells in his body. We have had many people with MS totally get

rid of the pain throughout their body, then crawl out of the

wheelchair and get on the rebounder themselves, it's truly amazing!
