Maybe they can get a patent and then extort licensing fees from everyone who

buys a fermenting crock. ;-)

-------->LOL! that line struck me as odd, too. in any case, i doubt

sauerkraut or kimchi could be " even healthier " than the way *we* are all

making it. maybe they used a pasteurized store-bought brand or something.

Yeah, I doubt it could be *healthier* but in it's current state,

kimchi and kraut are just lousy *products*. I mean, how do

you sell something to people when they can easily make it

in their kitchens? Besides, there is very little profit margin.

So if you want to sell them, you need an angle -- like, " this

is the superhealthy version " . Kind of like oxygenated water.

The problem with our lifestyle, folks, is that it doesn't

support the GNP.

Don't you know that man can always, always out do nature? =)

Come on, Suze! Get with the program! Maybe they will irradiate it to

prevent e-coli poisoning.

------>or...or, maybe genetically engineer the fermenting bacteria to

improve the shelf life. or maybe splice a gene from the bacteria with one

from the cabbage. so much room for improvement!
