Highly recommended, though using it for two hours upon awakening is not exactly easy. -

I think their idea is that you can always sell a kidney or sell your services as a pharmaceutical test subject. -

Now we use it in the garage for cold winter days. Still kind of pricy, but you can use it as a whole-room light fixture. If you put it in your kitchen or wherever you spend the most time, there is no problem getting enough 'light time' in. Mine is kind of big though, and it needs a tall ceiling. I suspect smaller ones are available. I suspect with some organization you could also use it to grow plants, like herbs and lettuce, and to make your neighbors suspicious. I got the idea from a coffee shop I used to go to. It was located in an indoor nursery, and it always felt like a summer day, with all those plants, even though it was rainy outside. I haven't felt the need for it though, since I relocated my workroom from the basement to be next to an open window. -- Heidi
Guest guest
Uh-oh Heidi, you're going to have the DEA knocking on your door sooner or later... I hope you don't stay up late... Yeah, I have some special 5-fingered legal ornamentals growing in one corner just to keep them occupied :-) Actually in this part of the country I think a lot of gardeners do keep grow lights, we get so little sun in the winter. The DEA has special " sniffers " to detect THC on the wind. I'm more concerned they will discover the microbiology lab in my kitchen! -- Heidi
