Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about Sam. Do you know how long it will take for the cataracts to develop and can anything be done about it? About 5 years ago a pediatric opthmalogist diagnosed Brook with some kind of eye condition where the eye becomes pointed, I can't remember the name. Eventually he would have had to have a corneal transplant or something. Anyway when I went to see another ped. opth. the next year it turned out he didn't have it afterall. Guest guest
Kathy, Yes, actually it's a kick! I put his clean clothes on his bed last week intending to show him how to put them away himself. When I went in he had already done it! Hey, I take all the help I can get--even the little things. Now to teach him to make the bed!! & Garry, parents of (11 ds), (10 ds), JJ (8 ds/autism/celiac), (7 ds/ADHD/Celiac), and Esther (5 ds). All adopted. ---------- >From: " UrthMan " <outerspace@...> >< > >Subject: Sam >Date: Mon, May 6, 2002, 6:06 AM > ><<<<since he is not >sharing the room with Sam. >> > > >I bet Sam is Lovin' his bachelor pad!!!! > >Kathy > > > > >

Guest guest
Dear Steph, I don't think you can overdo slippery elm. I think the gel form is best. Eat fresh asparagus if you can get it. If you make a smoothie with yogurt and flax oil and barley greens and strawberries or blueberries, and add a raw egg, you will never taste it. SAM is available in every health food store. (S-adenosyl-methionine) SAM is required for cellular growth and repair. It is also involved in the biosynthesis of several hormones and neurotransmitters that affect mood. It may require up to one month for it to reach full effectiveness. SAM is best absorbed on an empty stomach. SAM should be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent deterioration. SAM is also known as Gumbaral, Samyr, Adomet and Admethionine. It is important to take B vitamins (B3; B6; B9; and B12 sublingually) when taking SAM, so that the conversion of methionine to homocysteine to glutathione works correctly, and does not end up increasing the level of homocysteine. Magnesium is also important, and feverfew helps, too. Best of Health!
