Guest guest
Looking for advice how to lower Spiro dose. I hate the side effects and doc won't consider changing to Inspra. So here's my problem, I'm on 200 mg / day. Last summer I was on 50 mg / day while eating nothing but baked potatoes, bananas, OJ and a few other low sodium foods. But who wants to eat that way and by the time the holidays came about I gave up and BP went back up. So, now I'm trying to get serious again, but it I eat low sodium, my dosr is too high, but if I cut dose to 150 mg /day I gain 5 lbs by next day. What is the best way to back down Spiro and sodium? I'll notice I can go one or two days low sodium, BP comes down, I try to lower Spiro does and BP goes way back up. What am I missing here?
