Rebeca,

My kids are older and weigh 70 and 80 pounds. You are up against more of a

challenge with a toddler. Can she swallow pills yet? If so get small vitamins

for her. They vary in size by manufacturer. If I use my own family chart I get

that at 30 pounds she would take 1,200 -

1,500 milligrams a day. Of course it's all up to what she can tolerate.

Vitamin C ramblings: assuming you have to buy chewable's.

I take 7 or 8 grams a day. That is a lot of pills to swallow.

My daughter takes up to 7 grams a day my son 8 grams when he is taking them. All

time release.

So having a toddler and knowing that chewable vitamin C's are hard on the gums

and esophagus I would start off slow. Another reason is that chewable's are not

time release. So if it were me I would continue with the multivitamin and add 1

500 milligram chewable V-C.

Watch for any stomach irritation. See how that goes.

When she can swallow pills then you can add more vitamin C. It seems those of us

that are taking vitamin C can process large amounts without any stomach issues.

If she is potty trained or potty training, vitamin C non-time release makes you

pee way to much

and only stays in your body 4 hours. What you don't use you lose. Did I just

make sense to anyone? LOL
