Effect of 2.5 mg Norvasc (amlodipine) with 200 mg Inspra

I was wondering what the effect is of 2.5 mg Norvasc (amlodipine) with 200 mg

Inspra? I have been able to maintain my blood pressure at normal with the

combination of 2.5 mg Norvasc (amlodipine) and 100 mg Inspra in the morning and

just 100 mg of Inspra at night.

I do think about trying to lower my dose, but the doctors don't want you to mess

with it if your blood pressure is ok.

I am eating a low salt diet as much as possible. The problem is that I had lost

weight from 180 lbs. to 166 pounds. (BMI 27), and now I have gained 3 pounds per

month when I stopped walking 1 hour per day and I am back up to 180 pounds (BI

29). I am also taking 200 mg of Lamictal (lamotrigine) which may be causing

weight gain.
