Guest guest
Actually, I'm not being fair. I saw a doctor Sunday, walk in clinic. She was ever so nice and said to use canesten. I thought I had some so to save money, I said I'd use what I have. Sunday/Monday I used it and then it was a bit better on Tuesday. Yesterday had a coffee, itching started and I had no canesten left. I found another tube of canesten but it was cortisol/canesten cream that my GP gave me last time. The day before I got the fungus I had a cup of coffee, which I don't tolerate well normally but I was so fatigued. It started to go but yesturday I had to go out and again my whole body was achey. I had half a coffee only weak. Last night I started itching and this morning its back..I avoid coffee as it makes me so wired, tremble, manic, can't talk properly as so anxious..but yesterday it didn't really make me feel wired just gave me a lift to get out to pay some bills.I think it must be the coffee..don't know if its affecting my blood sugar or what its affecting but I do think it was the coffee... I'm waiting for gp to call think I need fluconazole or something ThanksMandySent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: Clarence Grim <lowerbp2mac>Date: Thu, 25 Feb 2010 02:23:41 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face cortisol Creams may make fungal infections worse.CE Grim MDOn Feb 25, 2010, at 2:00 AM, moseleymandhotmail (DOT) co.uk wrote:Okay thanks, I'm under Dr.Drake he is the head of endocrine but I don't know what he specialises in.I know they are hot on cushings there and hopefully conns too!I can't get rid of this fungal thing its really getting me down. I'm on cortisol/antifungal creams but think maybe I need tablets.I brought mollasses and had some last night hope that's not made it come back its quite sugary..:)Sent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: Clarence Grim <lowerbp2mac>Date: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 16:48:07 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face Don't know folks there. So sick of eating the way I have been!:)Sent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: " Stone" <astone312suddenlink (DOT) net>Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2010 12:10:47 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face I have found that about 300-325 mg is my limit of sodium per meal. It is like that is all my body can take at one time or something. Because if I have more than that amount I start feeling sick with more heart palpitations, short of breath, chest pressure, etc, etc. It is in my story in the files. I have to be very careful of what I'm eating. I do not add salt to anything and eat mostly fresh food and only a tiny amount of pkg food. I have had this problem since 2008 and I have endocrinologist appointment in March to find out if it is PA, thyroid problems -thyroid antibody creen and tumor marker high and still symptoms despite meds, or possible other endocrine issues. I had elevated aldosterone and low renin on my low salt diet too. Re: gaunt face I think just 2 servings sizes of the tuna would put you over the amount of salt you need. > > >>>>>>>>> > >>> > >>>>>>>>> > >>>> > >>>>>>>>> > >>> Do any of you also have a high cortisol and ACTH > > >>>>>>>>> level? Guest guest
Mandy, you can’t have ¾ of a teaspoon + food. There is already salt in food. You need to count milligrams. A free online tool is at www.fitday.com I bought the program and kept track of everything I ate until I learned how to estimate about 800 mg/d sodium. Val From: hyperaldosteronism [mailto:hyperaldosteronism ] On Behalf Of moseleymand@... Hello I think I'm cutting out too much salt. I'm weeing a lot and after I've drunk a drink I go straight to the loo every time I drink. I think I'm not having enough salt? I'm not doing actual dash diet only as I'm short of money til tomorrow the I can do it properly. I've been having plain food, butter beans, chicken, egg, veggies, salad just adding a very small amount of salt. The problem is if your not doing the set dash menu, how much salt is 1400mg on a spoon? I'm only using sea salt shaker and had tuna that had 0.76g sodium...
