Guest guest
Do people put on a lot of weight with pa? I know my weight can go up at least 5lbs in one day. I can be a size 3 in the morning and size 4 later on!My weight has gone up even more at times. My sister can't loose any weight at all, has central weight gain but also has a hump...My brother has stretch marks on his arms mum said last night and this strange smell, mood swings etc..Does anyone else have mood swings with pa?My mood changes really quickly aggressive, self conscious, emotional and scared sort of feeling like something bads going to happen..Without salt my face looks too small! But maybe that's due to doing no carbs..maybe I can have my carbs now iam off the salt...Sent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: Clarence Grim <lowerbp2@...>Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2010 21:41:16 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face It is not better salt is salt is salt.Salt makes you pee esp if you have PA.How many times a night do you get up?On Feb 23, 2010, at 12:49 PM, moseleymandhotmail (DOT) co.uk wrote:Yes, I brought the totally unrefined sea salt thinking it would be better for me. Guest guest
I since I've cut the salt right down I have slept better. Apart from when I had some chips when I'd just moved in and been hectic..I didn't really understand it then.I also didn't realise what a small amount we can have until I weighed it on the scales!so, could see how much I can have.I used a bit more yesterday as face looked so small but obviously making me pee more again and I need some carbs in my diet..I think it proves why I was doing lo very low carb - it was for all the water I was retaining due to salt..So, I'm going to try the dash exactly as it says on the menu. Hopefully I won't have a problem with the bread etc as will be on very low salt (dash) and correct amount of potassium etc..Sorry to be a bit slow to understand it all. Been told I've had so many things as well you end up not believing sometimes and taking it with a pinch of salt!!!! Ha ha literally...;)Sent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: Clarence Grim <lowerbp2@...>Date: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 01:52:31 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face Too much salt====> swelling. Guest guest
My brother is really into weight training (we are both instructors). He has been trying so hard to get into body building. He said if I eat the amount iam supposed to eat I get bigger but feel really ruff, constipated, bloated (I can see when his face is bigger), can't use protein powder, problems with food (like me). He said he feels better when he isn't bloated but then feels very dehydrated. You can see his face goes gaunt like mine, when he smiles dehydration lines over his cheeks like how mine goes.He has given up trying to bodybuild just trains. He oftern says he has no appetite aswell but iam like that when I've bloated right out and impacted too.We both started having rice at one point as avoiding bread but both of us had a problem with packet rice uncle bens but okay with boil in the bag. We thought it was the sunflower oil but now realise it was the salt! He suffers bad acne too but not all the time comes and goes..so do I have very bad acne at times not lately not sure this is to do with it.He also suffers dioreah when stressed , I thought we had addisons or AI but PA makes senseI'm still holding water in my legs not sure why though. Guest guest
Oh okay, why am I not suprised I've been given the wrong treatment as usual!I've been thinking about what I've done differnt. The day before I got the fungus I had a cup of coffee, which I don't tolerate well normally but I was so fatigued. It started to go but yesturday I had to go out and again my whole body was achey. I had half a coffee only weak. Last night I started itching and this morning its back..I avoid coffee as it makes me so wired, tremble, manic, can't talk properly as so anxious..but yesterday it didn't really make me feel wired just gave me a lift to get out to pay some bills.I think it must be the coffee..don't know if its affecting my blood sugar or what its affecting but I do think it was the coffee... I'm waiting for gp to call think I need fluconazole or something ThanksMandySent using BlackBerry® from OrangeFrom: Clarence Grim <lowerbp2@...>Date: Thu, 25 Feb 2010 02:23:41 -0600<hyperaldosteronism >Subject: Re: Re: gaunt face cortisol Creams may make fungal infections worse.CE Grim MDOn Feb 25, 2010, at 2:00 AM, moseleymandhotmail (DOT) co.uk wrote:Okay thanks, I'm under Dr.Drake he is the head of endocrine but I don't know what he specialises in.I know they are hot on cushings there and hopefully conns too!I can't get rid of this fungal thing its really getting me down. Guest guest
Actually, I'm not being fair. I saw a doctor Sunday, walk in clinic. She was ever so nice and said to use canesten. I thought I had some so to save money, I said I'd use what I have. Sunday/Monday I used it and then it was a bit better on Tuesday. Yesterday had a coffee, itching started and I had no canesten left. I found another tube of canesten but it was cortisol/canesten cream that my GP gave me last time.
