Sounds to me like Kale is more a thyroid NORMALIZER, as opposed to just

'reducing' thyroid hormone levels. the context of the previous post

suggests it is effective at reducing these levels WHEN THEY ARE ELEVATED

(they said 'as effective as medications...').
