Guest guest
I have a 7 y/o with HFA. He has been potty trained since age five. The past few days he has had (3) wetting accidents. Twice at camp and once during the nite on Saturday. He is " obsessed " with the bathroom and always going to check them out so he is going or asking to go quite frequently. Now he has actually pee'd himself. Has this happened to anyone. He knows where he is supposed to go and when I tell him he is going to wear a diaper he gets all upset and says " no " . Any advice is greatly appreciated........ Ann

Guest guest
Ann, My son is 9yrs and from time to time will have these " accidents " .I would think the same thing to myself as well " he knows how and where to go why is he doing this? " Sometimes, like kids do,he's in the middle of something and simply doesn't want to stop and take himself to the bathroom.Another thing I thought about is sensory and body awareness,I think when you learn how your body " works " if you feel a sensation your brain tells you were it's coming from and what it is..so I think sometimes the " messege " doesn't make it in time.
