I have a load of photocopied stuff that was given to me- I think we

have 2 copies so I may be able to just pass something on. I'll try to

look later (although we have a kitchen going in so I cn't get to all my

stuff atm). Alternatively if you look up the MVDP they sell pocket

books of signs for around £8.

I found this on makaton.org.

Available symbols and signs

To download a Word document containing a list of the concepts included in the Makaton Core Vocabulary, the National Curriculum, and Animals Transport Vehicles together with the symbols or signs that have been designed for the many projects that the MVDP has been involved in, click on the appropriate link in the right column.

They are not complete lists of the symbols and signs available, as we are still working to add more, and we are continually working on new projects which demand new vocabulary, so it is worth bookmarking this page to keep an eye out for updates.

If you would like a particular symbol (or sign) graphic, please contact the MVDP on 01276 61390 or email mvdp@... for more information.

I don't know if they are free or not, but it might be worth contacting them.

Hi,

I bought a Makaton Nursery Rhymes video on

amazon that has gone down very well. It is the black chap that used tobe on

play days/play away can’t remember name and box is destroyed (eaten I mean).

Too late in the evening for me to be settling down to watch it to find out his

name. Also footy on in our house.
