Guest guest
I also did a response - I think yours is better! I would like to challenge the legality of her hate mongering of disabled people - I thought it was illegal under DDA and would like to challenge her right to be so offensive in print. Any thoughts? Her views are akin to racism or sexism - it's not good enough to attempt to side step offence by saying " not you genuine people " becuase she is hardly in a position to judge genuine from false. It's surely a breach of DDA and the Sunday Times should be called to answer. This isn't a " life style " piece - much as morons like her would like to pretend otherwise. > > HEY GUYS > THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY RESPONSE TO KATIE WITH YOU ALL. Guest guest
That's absolutely right - my response was nowhere near that good. Again I'll ask my sister (the lawyer) what she thinks about the legal side. Sara Re: MY RESPONSE TO SUNDAY TIMES I also did a response - I think yours is better! Guest guest
Hi Diane – I have sent the article to the disability rights commission (your link) for their response. Haven’t checked out the law yet. Re: Re: MY RESPONSE TO SUNDAY TIMES I'm a member of the NAS. I've sent them a copy and asked for their response. I'll let you know what they say. Also the DDA can be found on www.drc-gb.org Diane Re: MY RESPONSE TO SUNDAY TIMES I also did a response - I think yours is better! Guest guest
I think that this article is also pretty disparaging of the paediatricians who diagnose our children. I’ll try sending the article to the BMA for their response. Sara Re: Re: MY RESPONSE TO SUNDAY TIMES I'm a member of the NAS. I've sent them a copy and asked for their response.
