Guest guest Posted September 3, 2005 Report Share Posted September 3, 2005 Hi Amy, Really glad to hear you got through the EMG. About back surgery, I was 49 and had a spinal fusion at L4 and L5. I sought out the BEST doctor (out of 5 I consulted with) and the surgery was a huge success. More so that I ever imagined! Recovery was not as long as I expected either. At 53, I'm in far better shape than I was at 49, physically, emotionally, spiritually, in ALL ways! It seemed back surgery gave me a whole new life!
