Karma, the thought of having a tapeworm has entered my mind. And if I have

one it is proof that Hulda s 3 week mopup did not kill the sucker. I

have also done the Sonne cleanse as you know. And I am taking rascal right

now because I think my system is immune to BWT and wormwood. I have been

doing this since November.

I have not tried olive leaf extract. I heard a lot about it but did not know

it was good for parasites.

What I want is a Roter Rooter and just flush it out.Wouldn't that be nice:-))

Thanks Karma.

Christel,

I didn't remember you were on the RASCAL. I have copied some pages from Dr.

Cabot's book " The Healthy Liver and Bowel Book " When I read it, I

thought it might be helpful information to someone.

Here is what she said on page 112

" You might wonder why I have recounted the experience of my son. After 15

months I suddenly developed the same symptoms. (I suspect I may have picked

it up while cleaning his toilet and bathroom). My son had another relapse at

the same time. After a week of terrible symptoms, when I had lost 6

kilograms (13 pounds), much searching discovered a herbal tapeworm remedy

called Rascal, based on chilli. This reversed the situation and our

digestion started working again, but alas after three weeks it was

ineffective. Further searching found Yomesan (which unfortunately Bayer have

recently removed from the Australian market), a tapeworm S2 medicine, which

according to their literature is also effective against roundworms.

This worked and saved us from a fate worse than death, and has worked more

than once, because it has a different action to other medications. Yomesan

treatment is followed by a purge with Epsom salts, which cleans out the dead

worms. As you can see we have both been on a roller coater ride, my son

since October 1994 and myself since January 1996.

(Skip a few paragraphs)

I now seem to be on the road to recovery with no evidence of blasto-cystis

homminis in recent tests, but do not know just what cured the blasto. Maybe

it was the lemon juice and water first thing in the morning. However the

dysbiosis was still a problem until a month ago when I tried Olive Leaf

Extract. This has had a remarkable effect. The bloating, wind and abnormal

motions stopped and for the first time in years everything returned to

normal. Heaven! Anyone diagnosed with " irritable bowel syndrome " or

parasites should try it. "

I haven't done an Internet search to see if Yomesan is available from Bayer

or not, but if anyone wants it and can't find it, I do know a chemist who

works for Bayer and can ask him if they still make it. He has a product

list I have asked him for stuff before. RASCAL and Olive Leaf both by

Kroeger Herbs can be found here http://loaves-n-fishes.com/kroeger.html The

original East Park Olive Leaf Extract, that has a patent on their product

can be found here http://loaves-n-fishes.com/eastpark.htm This page has a

lot of information on the product and what it kills and it's benefits.

I sure hope you find something that helps you soon.

I just read what I wrote here, it made it sound like I was quoting Dr. Cabot

and her experience with her son in the second paragraph. That isn't the

case. She is giving a testimonial of a patient and the quoted words of that

of a patient who was telling their experience. The topic was parasites. I

am sorry for the way I worded it. Not intentional.

Something you may find helpful: DAAIR is a non-profit org. est. by

several people with immune challenges, like hiv, etc.

They sell many, many items at wholesale cost. (sorta like Dr. Jons

co-op) but not quite as low; still; they are much lower than the

average, and they will send you a very valuable guide.

They have Olive leaf in bulk, which is said to be best, which I plan

to grind and cap.

Christel,

I have sent an e-mail to him asking him. I'll let you know when I hear back

from him. He is usually pretty quick.

After reading your symptoms, I will type in beginning of the story, because

it sounds like maybe the information will help you, please excuse any typos,

as this is a few pages from the book. The woman who wrote this article was

finally able to expel a parasite and have it identified. It wasn't a

tapeworm though. Below is the article in it's entirety. From " The Healthy

Liver & Bowel Book " by Dr. Cabbot http://www.liverdoctor.com page

111-113 Entitled " Bowel Parasites by Trixi Whitmore: Author of Chemical Free

Living

Here is a summary of my experience with parasites and the beneficial effects

of Olive Leaf Extract.

In the 1994 I was diagnosed with " blasto-cystis homminis " found in a stool

test and listed as " unknown pathogen " by the testing laboratory. My

subsequent research discovered it to be a suspected " protozoa " . However it

is very widespread in the population and produces symptoms of bloating,

flatulence and at times very explosive, smelly loose motions. At first

these symptoms were spasmodic, but after a time they seemed to be present

most of the time. Although I did not feel ill, I felt extra tired and just

not " right " ! The doctor did not offer or suggest any treatment. (A

subsequent visit to a specialist revealed that there was a severe outbreak

in a country town and he was looking for a cure.)

About this time my son, (a young man) suddenly developed symptoms which

baffled the doctor. he had been away in Tasmania camping. The symptoms

were terrifying and life-threatening. They began with acid indigestion,

fatigue and constipation which became worse and worse each day. Antacid

preparations were useless. He could eat less and less, had sever rumbling

and grumbling in the tummy and the food and drink just seemed to stop at the

navel level and took ages to digest. He went into a drugged-like sleep from

which it was difficult to wake, and his hands and feet became swollen and

very white. His face was ashen. After two weeks he had lost 14 kilograms

(30 pounds) and finally when water would not pass through him, he was taken

to hospital. Unfortunately it was the weekend and apart from an X ray he

had no treatment. However the previous day he had seen a specialist who had

prescribed Fasigyn, as he thought it could be giardia. The mixture of

Fasigyn with the acute acid caused him agony, as it hurt from the throat

down, but eventually after 30 hours, it must have trickled into his

intestines as the " blockage " cleared.

after taking Slippery Elm to put a lining back onto his stomach he started

eating again, but after three days the symptoms recurred. Flagyl was then

prescribed for one week and this brought things back to some kind of

normalty. However, he had become lactose intolerant and constipated, and

had to be careful with food which was difficult to digest. This was a young

man who had never had food allergies or bowel irregularities in his whole

life.

Over the next 15 months the " bug " keep recurring about every six weeks.

Flagyl was useless. I kept finding worm/parasite medicines for him, both

herbal and allopathic, some of which worked for a short time, but the " but "

very quickly became immune to the remedy. Over this period I read

everything I could about parasites, which I feel are far more prevalent in

our country than are recognized! My son consulted various doctors and

specialists who did not seem to realize the seriousness of the situation

" Irritable bowel syndrome " and was the label! Unfortunately various tests

were negative, but no-one stipulated that the most effective stool sample is

a PURGED sample.

You might wonder why I have recounted the experience of my son. After 15

months I suddenly developed the same symptoms. (I suspect I may have picked

it up while cleaning his toilet and bathroom). My son had another relapse at

the same time. After a week of terrible symptoms, when I had lost 6

treatment is followed by a purge with Epsom salts, which cleans out the dead

worms. As you can see we have both been on a roller coater ride, my son

since October 1994 and myself since January 1996.

Because I could not seem to get my digestion or bowels to return to normal,

nor to get rid of the parasite problem, I finally found and consulted with a

doctor who understood parasite problems. He sent my stool samples to the

Great Smokies Laboratories in the USA. (These tests are now available in

Australia at Analytical Reference Laboratories Pty Ltd (ARL) 5 Levenson

Street, North Melbourne, 3051 Phone (613) Fax: (616) 9326 5004

Great Smokies found " blasto-cystis homminis " , dientamoeba fragillis (which

can be hosted by threadworms), and dysbiosis (unhealthy microorganisms in

the gut), rated at 12 on a scale of 1-10. Such was the health of my gut!

A long period of convalescence has now taken place with intermittent doses

of Yomesan and other remedies, and I hope that both my son and I are beating

the problem. All along I suspected that my son had something " different " -

a very virulent " bug " which behaved in a different way to anything in the

parasite literature, but responded to parasite medication. (I must thank

Bayer for supplying me with such useful information on various parasites.)

After so many negative stool tests, I decided to start looking myself for

evidence of worms. The ideal time was after dosing with Yomesan followed by

Epsom salts. Persistence paid off, for I found some " interesting items, "

which I took to a kind and caring naturopath/biochemist who analyses live

blood. She has a microscope attached to a colour TV screen. One of the

" interesting items " I found was a definite worm, 6mm long, with a heart

shaped tail. I photographed it, made a sketch of same, and took it to

Newcastle University for identification. (She put a diagram in the book).

Also I sent the sketch and particulars to Dr. Leo Galland (world expert on

parasites) and The Great Smokies Laboratories. So far no one can identify

it! Maybe it is anew species of roundworm? Interestingly two new

roundworms have recently been identified, one in in the muscle

tissue of a fireman who was seriously ill, and another named crypto

strongulus pulmoni in the sputum of Chronic Fatigue patients in the USA.

I now seem to be on the road to recovery with no evidence of blasto-cystis

homminis in recent tests, but do not know just what cured the blasto. Maybe

it was the lemon juice and water first thing in the morning. However the

Again, here is where get the original East Park Olive Leaf Extract, that has

a patent on their product http://loaves-n-fishes.com/eastpark.htm This page

I think you can get it at regular health food stores too.

Christel,

From what I saw on the net with a search, your MD can prescribe

Niclocide here in the US. A search on Yomesan found a few sites in other

countries that sell it. Maybe you can orde it from them without a scrip,

if their country doesn't require it.

these sites have good info on yomesan:

A drastic saline purge (e.g. sodium sulphate, magnesium sulphate), given two

hours after the YOMESAN dose should ensure a rapid and complete expulsion of

the worm. Without purgation, the parasite is excreted in pieces during the

next few days. In the case of Taenia solium, a drastic purge is imperative

=====

This sure sounds good to me. Has anyone ever tried it and can give personal

experiemce?
