Hello. I have had high BP for many years, 170/110. The last 10 years BP has been well controlled, 130,120/130,120. 50 mg spiro 50 mg metropol. For many years I had very irregular hearbeats and could not when sleeping lay on my left side or my stomack. OK now. Had us of heart about 10 years ago. It was normal, but the thickness of the heartwalls was on the upper normal range.EKG normal. My question: When BP has returned to normal will that heal any damage to the cardivascullar system? Will it influence expected lifespan ?
