Guest guest
Hi Laurie, Dr. Blass's explanation is exactly what I read and it doesn't really make sense to me. BTW, I made a mistake in my earlier post. Milk of magnesium is not the same as epsom salts. Milk of Mag is Mg(OH)2 while epsom salts is magnesium sulfate. Anyway, I take plenty of h2o2 orally and it does not oxidize and liquify junk in my intestines like the claims made for homozon. Although h202 probably gets absorbed before reaching the intestines. Any form of non-absorbable magnesium acts like a laxative. The magnesium acts to pull a saline solution into the intestines from the blood. This excessive fluid then provides a flushing or laxative action within the intestines. That is why I am hypothesizing that homozon is just acting like a laxative. Like homozon, even milk of magnesia doesn't work good as a laxitive after you use it too much. Dr. Blass said: " oxidation means changing solid waste matters into water and gas " I can see where this would make excess water, but one job of the intestines is to absorb excess water. If the water is part of a saline solution, that has enough salts in it, then it will not be absorbed and cause diarea. This is what happens when milk of magnesium is taken and what I think may be happening also with homozon. I'm sure the excess oxygen homozon releases is beneficial, but I don't buy the " liquification of wastes " explanation. Best Wishes! Guest guest
Hi Pete, When I use Homozon, before my 10 day colon cleanse that I did recently, I use to get liquid bowel movements, but since I'm more cleaned out sore to speak (lol) the recommended amount does not do anything, I have normal 2 to 3 bm a day with or without it. so I don't agree with your statement below. Ps. Dr. Freibott, International Institute for Oxygen Therapies could explain this better then I could, email me privately and I can give you there phone # http://www.oxytherapy.com/edmccabe/index.html this is a link to ask Ed McCabe any questions about oxygen or ozone hope it helps clarify things. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, In my post I said, Like homozon, even milk of magnesia doesn't work good as a laxative after you use it for a while. And if it liquifies impacted waste, why doesn't it liquify normal waste? Something just doesn't jive with Dr. Basses explanation. Guest guest
These are the claims that are typically made for Homozon. But there is very little research to back them up. It seems clear that magnesium, with or without oxygen, is a strong laxative. I personally doubt that the following is true: " As long as only Magazon or Homozon is used, watery stools will be present till the digestive tract is freed of waste matters. " It seems to me that large doses of magnesium, with or wothout the oxygen, will cause diarrhea no matter what, even if the digestive tract is freed of waste matters. " Laurie K. Guest guest
I have come to the same conclusion. I DO feel energized by the extra oxygen I get from Homozon and use it for that purpose. alreadyherenow@... wrote: > I'm sure the excess oxygen homozon releases is beneficial, but I > don't buy the " liquification of wastes " explanation. Guest guest
Hallo Bjorn, I understand that there is unclearity on the knowledge and effects of Homozon. Concerning the laxative effects (personal experience): Some weeks ago somebody posted a mail on the oxylist stating that using ozonated water caused loosening of the bowel. That means that the oxygen (single oxygen atom) does cause a laxative effects. Ofcourse the question is: Are the very strong laxative effects we see with Homozon when people start to use the product caused solely by the oxygen or does also the magnesium contribute to this effect. Honestly I don't know. But as concluded above, some at least is caused by the oxygen, and the question is how much lose stool can just one small teaspoon of magnesium cause. The way to test this would be to digest an equal amount of pure magnesium powder (same amount you normally take homozon) and see how strong the laxative effects are. I've been using Homozon now for two years and in the beginning I have had the same questions. Like I wrote I still don't know how much of the lose stool is caused by the magnesium. I do know however that my lose stools are getting less. I take now - since shortly - about three teaspoons a day, almost heaping teaspoons. When I did this sporadically many months ago I was only releasing fluid stools, now my stools are quite ok. Actually it is just nice I never have obstipation, just always a quite easy stool and only sometimes a bit more lose. But by taking this amount of Homozon another thing has started to arise: My live is changing quite considerably. I'm an amalgam damaged person. I've had many infectious diseases including TBC, which requires to take antibiotics for one year three times a day. This probably caused a medicine poisoning on my liver (also had Hep A before). Next to that I have heart weakness (caused by the mercury from the amalgam) So before, when I did not use Homozon, my daily schedule looked like a lazy holiday schedule, only it was a forced holiday schedule: Getting up in the morning at 10.00 AM, work for a few hours and then going to bed after the lunch cause my liver could not digest well the proteins. Then again in the afternoon doing my work for the different foundations I'm working for and being very tired in the evening mostly go to bed at 23.00 hrs. Next to this I had regulair strong ME attacks, that made me immobile sometimes for just a few hours, but also for days on end. (As a remedy I would go to a very good EV tester (VOL) that would mostly come up with some food conservation chemicals that seem to blocked my neurotransmitters and impulses in the nerves.) Now, after using Homozon for two years, but only lately starting to take more then one teaspoon a day. My life is miraculously changing since hightening the does. The last few days I have been working with a friend on a painting job. So that is quite physical. It's quite surprising to see that I'm making days of 18 hours with 6 hours of physical work and feel as good as ever. Yes I'm only sleeping like 5 hours !! cause I've to take the bus at 06.00 to travel two hours to the house that has to be painted. I feels a bit as if I'm the man of 6 million. (of course I'm not, have to be carefull not to exaggerate). Still I feel some pain in my heart area so have to be very carefull, but it is really trully amazing. No problems with digesting anyfood. Almost no ME attacks - ofcourse I still take everycare to avoid chemicals in foods. So, what I would like to say to you is that is does not really matter so much with Homozon these detailed small side effects and how they are caused or - considering our earlier discussion - how much the intestial flora is changed or maybe slightly damaged - which I think is absolutely not the case and if so it seems that it is reseaded with friendly bacteria immediately: I have no problem digesting and absorbing any food what so ever. The results of taking three teaspoons of Homozon are beyond my wildest dreams, I wish the same to you and everybody else. Regards Doedens Ps 1. And I'm not writing this cause I'm selling the stuff. I will send you a free container if you want, but then you have to promiss me to work towards taking 3 teaspoons a day ). As a beginner you will have to keep your toiletpaper ready ) Ps 2. By the way what are your health problems, if any? Bjorn Roxendal wrote: > These are the claims that are typically made for Homozon. But there is very little research to back them up. Guest guest
, I appreciete your generous and detailed sharing of your Homozon/life experiences. I may have come across as slightly Homozon negative when bringing up possible side effects of Homozon, as well as doubting some of the claims generally made about the product, but that is not actually where I am coming from. I am a bit tired of the tendency towards " blind belief " and " mumbo jumbo " that I see displayed in alternative circles and I think it is wise to be somewhat inquisitive and critically(although not negatively) review claims that are made about products. I have used Homozon myself for about three months, and continue to use it, in spite of the possible side effects. I have felt an increase in energy (although not very strong) and that is something I really need! I have been quite sick in CFS and am still recovering. Right now I am functioning at about 70% capacity, up from around 10 or 20% a few years ago. Since I am starting a very demanding full time job on Aug 1, I am under considerable pressure and definitely need additional improvements! I own and use a QXCI machine, which is helping in my recovery. Since coming on this list I have started to do liver cleanses (got about 100 stones out the first time and 200 the second). I have been experimenting with H2O2 and am currently using it as an inhalation spray. Cayenne/turmeric is another current favorite of mine. Regarding you offer to send me some Homozon: I sincerely appreciate it and will take you up on it. (It is difficult and rather expensive to get in Sweden.) I will make a serious effort to work up to 3 teaspoons/day and report the results to you and/or the list. I definitely need to accelerate in my recovery in order to be able to keep my commitments in the near future! Guest guest
Shipment is coming, please sent me your address private. When you are working full time in an office job e.g. then ofcourse it needs some creative way of taking care when you use 3 teaspoons of homozon a day. One thing I've changed for my self and which has been an important improvement is that whenever I feel that I have to go to the bathroom while I'm in an important conversation I think: 'Hey, this great medicine is doing its work again, pitty for the people in this room that they don't know of this great medicine!' In that way all stress is gone when I have the urge. It is a good sign and in this way much easier to control (without condemning it, which creates stress), so then I go when the conversation is over, or I proudly tell them that I do have to visit the bathroom for a moment. (Take note of the word 'proudly' ) This really helped me to relax and control the use of Homozon.
