Hi all,

I have been a long time member of the list but really haven't had

reason to post much until now. has never posed a big

behavioral problem until 4 weeks ago. Both at home and school,

has been acting out. She has started out by ripping her school work,

knocking drinks and other items off tables, throwing things. 2 weeks

ago it excalated into hitting other students and hitting us at home

too, then, today, she turned over desks and threw chairs and

crayons, then when picking up all the crayons, she proceeded to

break them all! I felt AWEFUL for her teacher, She loves and

the last thing she wants to do is send her home. She has been sent

home 4 times in the last 2 weeks. We have looked for signs to see

what sets her off but we just don't see anything. Any punishment is

useless cause she finds a way to enjoy it. Obviously we need a more

unorthodox way to deal with this. I am at a loss! I looked into the

book that the email suggested earlier, Work in Process. They didn't

have it at our local bookstore but could order it for $44. Simply, I

can't afford this book. I will be checking out the library to see if

they have it. In the mean time, I have a meeting scheduled with her

teacher, her aides and other school administrators on Wednesday

morning. Until then is unoffically suspended. Right now, I am

so disappointed, not so much in but in me for not being able

to figure out the next step.

Also, I have been looking in to the vitamin B-6, magnesium and DMG.

I wonder if anyone on this list has tried it and if so what dosages

and did it work?

Thank you all for listening.
