Guest guest
, A couple of weeks of Vitamin C most likely is not going to do anything. Most who take it reported changes much later on. Plus in the original research, it took 30 GENERATIONS of mice to see a change in CMT - and that was to STOP IT entirely. Something else to consider, all the Vitamin C research has been on animal models of CMT 1A only. It is still unknown what effect, if any, Vitamin C would have on other CMT types. What kind of C are you taking? How much/how often? You might want to read through the information and papers in our Files on C. And again, please understand C is not a " cure " for CMT - YET. Much more research needs to be done on the human population with CMT. What group members report are there own observations based on the amount, length of time and type of C they are taking. Just like our own CMT, it seems to be so individualized. One idea is to take Vitamin E with it - that will increase the absorption of C. ~ Gretchen
