Guest guest
Dear Juno Member, Thank you for contacting Juno. Please note that this message is an autoreply. The " postoffice@... " address is used by our automatic mail delivery system, and messages sent to and from this address are not read by anyone. If your question or problem is not resolved by the information below, please visit our online technical support center (http://help.juno.com), or e-mail a brief one-paragraph description, including any error messages you may have received, to support@... Our automated technical support center will search our technical database and provide you with a list of relevant technical support documents. Thank you for using Juno! Security & Abuse Dept. Juno Online Services, Inc. COMMON QUESTIONS 1. Why is the address " postoffice@... " in my address book? If a message that you write cannot be delivered, you will receive notification from postoffice that the message has been bounced. If you have the option to " Save All Senders' Addresses " turned on in Juno, the postoffice address will automatically be added to your address book. 2. Do you have a directory of all Juno users? No. We do not give out our members' e-mail addresses. 3. A friend of mine has a Juno address. If I send you her name, can you give me her e-mail address? No, again, we do not give out this information. If you don't know the e-mail address of your friend, please try contacting them in some other way -- by phone or postal mail, perhaps -- to get their e-mail address. 4. My message bounced. I looked at the notice, and I saw that I made a typo in the address. Can you please re-send my message? I'm sorry, but we do not keep copies of bounced messages, and as a result we cannot re-send messages for you. Instead of retyping the entire message, however, you can forward the bounced message to the corrected address and simply change the Subject header and delete the notice of the bounce. 5. My message bounced and I don't know why. Can you help? E-mail messages bounce for several reasons, many of which can be easily corrected. The most common reason is an incorrect e-mail address. If you are new to sending and receiving e-mail, the Juno help files will provide you with some useful information about the format of an e-mail address. Please check the category " E-mail Addresses " under Appendix A in the online Juno help file. You should also try to contact your correspondant by some other method to make sure that you have the correct e-mail address for them. Also, remember that a very small typing error, such as using a comma instead of a period, can result in a bounced message. Be sure to carefully check the original address and make sure that everything is correct. A common typo is to use the " .com " suffix instead of " .edu " or " .org " or " .net " , or vice versa. If you are familiar with the correct form of e-mail addresses, and you are sure that the address you sent to is correct, there may be a temporary mail delivery problem on your recipient's system. Try sending your message again to see if it bounces once more.
