Guest guest
He** NO, , no need for an apology. You were fighting for your kids, it's as simple as that. You have PROOF the school is not up to following IEP's/OHA and Adaptive PE. And because the walls were so thin, everyone now knows, and I have a hunch the Principal will be calling YOU to apologize. The school/Principal/teachers, etc., have fallen way off track on their *required* jobs of looking after kids with special needs. Remember that " right to a free, public education " thing too. I tell you, we've known each other so long now, with every passing day I admire you more and more for the way you fight for your CMT kids. Kids see this and they will grow up with the will and the ability to fight for themselves. I know I did, after watching both parents fight for my on certain occassions. ~ Gretchen (no PE from 8th grade on until my senior year of college, where one unit of a Bicycle Ridiing paper I wrote got me an A and allowed me to graduate) Odd now, too, since I am so into Aquatics and stuff. Maybe schools need to put swimming/aquatics programs into their plans?
