lead water pipes

Hi has anyone had their lead water pipes changed and if so what did it

cost? Is the water then lead free or can it be contaminated from lead

pipes further down the line? We had our water tested which came within

the safe limits but I have read that even small amounts of lead can

affect pregnant women and children. When I was prgnant I drank loads

of tap water so I presume that Charlie's lead poisoning came from

that.
