I always thought that the different neuromuscular diseases were all

interconnected somehow. In my family, my mom had a cousin with a form of MD, my

maternal grandmother had ALS, and I have CMT. I was wondering how common it

really is to have different types of neuromuscular diseases in one family.

Please let me know if anyone else does.
