Hi everyone,

I had a decent day yesterday and Dashed..

Last night I felt decent as well and my night reading was 140/99, 70.

I'm on verapamil 90 bid. I normally have a 150/90 reading before I redose in

the evening.

My diastolic has always been an issue. I also noted that my calcium was

borderline high 1.30 (normal ends at 1.30) I read that the NATpase affects the

calcium uptake etc. in the cells etc..... I'm not being monitored very closely

for cardiac SE. Should I have another Ca test and ECG?

This morning I am super stiff. My quads feel like rocks. I am not jerking like

in the middle of the night. At 3:30 AM I was really restless and woke up. I

felt hyper but exhaused, lots of muscle twitchy. I finally fell back asleep at

6 but I was so tempted to go to the ER. If my leg muscles are fatigued, what is

going on with my heart?

Awaiting my ARR but would it causes these weird nighttime episodes?

Could it be cortisol? I'm going to ask if they can have a standing order for a

cortisol test and I'll go in when I get one of these episodes. It felt like I

drank multiple coffee. I know the thyroid can also cause hypokalemia, diastolic

blood pressure and the cortisol could cause these situation.

I'm getting real tired-mentally and physically.

I'm discouraged today because I would have loved to go to the ER last night but

I knew most likely they would not have had anything to offer but it is scary!

Anyhow, does anyone else get these " highs " esp. in the middle of the night?

Thanks guys/girls

chantal
