Guest guest
My endo presented my case to the surgeons today. They want a blood test for pheo first, so its 5 days with no tylenol in preparation. Anyone have any idea what test they are actually doing? Adrenalin or something else? Guest guest
I think I have been, but I am not entirely sure. I had blood Cortisol at my PCP and with U. endo, although this may have been done to rule out Cushings (which I have no external markers for, as you can see from my picture. Would AVS with high aldo on one side pretty much rule out Pheo, or could it also be indicative? Guest guest
Has nothing to say about pheo. How big is adenoma? If forgot. Some like to have test before they mess with the adrenal. lf an unknow pheo and not prepped correctly can have BPs of 300 and surgery would be canceled and hopefully you would not.Good to have it. Guest guest
" Don't become a cyberchondriac by looking at fringe groups " The problem is this group can't be found by by useing google. By the time any one finds this group most have looked at many other sites. Some do have this group listed that is how I found it. Not sure if there is a way to put it in google search or not. Once someone finds this group they then should have all the facts they need. Something that still is a work in progress. I am not sure but I think Dr Grim can edit any file or folder on here. Any one can add what every they want be it good or bad information. Maybe this will work. If we use the folder tool create text file we can then put what ever information we want in that file Dr Grim could then edit the file. This would get the information where all could see it any time they wanted to. It would no longer be lost. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My endo presented my case to the surgeons today. They want a > > blood test for pheo first, so its 5 days with no tylenol in > > preparation. > > >  > > > Anyone have any idea what test they are actually doing? > > Adrenalin or something else? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Bindner > > >  > > > > > >  > > >  > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Try doing a search for some of the SX. You are right it isn't lost you will only have to search 400 or so posts. Nothing seems to comes up in search that it posted after March of 2009. Not every thing needs to be in files. But if the create text file work the way I think they do. I should be able to ask about sx and tests Dr Grim can add, edit or remove the file. This way we should have good information where it is easy to find. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My endo presented my case to the surgeons today. They want a > > > > blood test for pheo first, so its 5 days with no tylenol in > > > > preparation. > > > > >  > > > > > Anyone have any idea what test they are actually doing? > > > > Adrenalin or something else? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Bindner > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
I for one am not that a big a fan of Google. Most do use it. I did try search and this group site came up. If you put this in the search hyperaldosteronism Conn's Syndrome and related problems. it is listed as the first one. Doing the search for Conn's syndrome it was about no 4. I then tried MSN this seem to be the same as Bing. Had to put hyperaldosteronism Conn's Syndrome and related problems in the search to have it come up. > > > > " Don't become a cyberchondriac by looking at fringe groups " The problem is this group can't be found by by useing google. > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
I just googled it and we came up # 10. Partly determined by activity I think. And how many times hyperaldo is mentioned in our description as I recall. Guest guest
I guess it depends on what you put in the search. If you google Conn's Syndrome it is about number 60. If Hyperaldosteronism it is on the first page. Somehow you have to know what to search for in the first place. In my case It was after seeing I had the adrenal adenoma that I started doing a search for it was. This took me to many sites. Some I disregarded due to there not being enough good information on them. I found that Conn's seems to fit the best to my SX. My search led me to the NORD site. Again what I found there seem to fit with my SX. That group had a link to this one. A lot of information I have found on other sites have been reinforced on this site. > > > > > > " Don't become a cyberchondriac by looking at fringe groups " The > > problem is this group can't be found by by useing google. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Should we add Conn's Syndrome to our title?
