Guest guest
Hi Chel, Welcome from another ! It's great that you can go to college online and (hopefully) get a job working at home these days. If you're having trouble with your hands, you might want to look into voice recognition software; I use DragonDictate, an older version of NaturallySpeaking. I know there's a version of NaturallySpeaking just for the legal profession. Even if you don't use it all the time, it might help to have it around for days when you're tired and can't do much typing. I'd be happy to try and answer any questions you may have about it. Again, welcome to the list.
Guest guest
Chel, I am an attorney, and I have CMT. ly, the CMT gets in the way of practicing law. I think working on a contract basis is the right way to deal with it. You should also look into assistive technologies like voice recognition software if you struggle with typing and handwriting like I do. Law can be very stressful and you need to remember that stress and CMT do not mix well. Take time off as you need it to rest. Mike
