Guest guest
> > Well I had to see the Opthalmologist again today because my eyes are > hurting again > > Hi Betz, I so wish your eyes would clear up. I keep praying for you. I am finally rested from my vacation with the daughters. We had a great time, but I'm afraid it will be my last big trip until I have better control of my diseases. I tried not to be a drag for them, but I know now that I can't do the sightseeing thing until I figure out something for my back pain. It may take a new rheumy. I loved British Columbia. The scenery has to be seen to be believed. I managed to get through most of the Butchart Gardens and got some great pictures. We also went to Whistler where they will have the 2010 winter olympics. We saw more road construction than I care to ever see again, but they are running out of time. I got a lot of reading done on this trip while I stayed in the car. I was exhausted by the time we got to Seattle, but I made the mistake of going to the Pike Street Market with the girls. They had to park me on a chair and bring the car down to pick me up. But it was fun. I knew if I didn't go, I would never have another chance. So after a week of recuperating, I think I am back to what is normal for me. God Bless! maybe more about the trip later. Guest guest
> Hey Janet....thanks for the kind thoughts and well wishes. I'm glad you got to go on the trip even though you spent parts of it in the car reading and had to be left in a chair! It sounds like you still saw some cool things. I'm learning that you have to just go for it. If your family and friends are willing to put up with it then you are blessed. But I'm sure you are a blessing to have around whether dragging your feet on the streets or sitting in the car reading. I think that makes it easier for those around you to deal with it. Keeping a positive attitude is something we can do for the ones we love....a way to thank them for what they must give up for loving us. Keep on shining! -Betz
