Dear Joanna,

Many thanks for your comments & your welcome.

The potassium thing is odd as I eat 2 bananas every day, luckily for me I love

them. My GP was surprised when my wife assured him of the amount of fruit &

vegetables I do eat on a daily basis. I am due to have another blood test in a

couple of weeks time to check my current levels.

I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week but am guilty of not swimming very often so

I shall take your advice & add that to my fitness regime.

I do have very shaky hands which does concern me but my GP said it may be down

to the Amitriptyline. He is now refering to a consultant neurologist to see if

there are other drugs which may be better for me to try.

I will look into Malic Acid, Glycinate Magenesium, Vit C & Peruvian Maca. Many

thanks for your e-mail, it is so good to know there are fellow sufferes out

there who understand CMT.

Take care
