I would be guessing but bacterial die off would be first on my list. Do you have any activated charcoal? Do you have any of the old probio's left? Guest guest
Thanks everyone, he has just started the culturelle and the probio, I gave the culturelle because he had such stinky breath. What else would indicate bacteria problem? Should we be doing a stool test then if so which one? Mandi, no I have no activated charcoal, and don't you just know I used the last of the multiflora before starting the . The yogurt is just a normal shop bought. Thanks all very much, absolutely drowning here, had got so used to the new super duper . Vicky xxx

Guest guest
Agression, Oh I know that one, he has been, on a number of occasions today literally hanging off my hair. Will get the stool test done and phone for the old probio first thing Monday. Isn't it amazing how everything else goes out the window when something like this happens, I just cannot think straight at all. Thanks Mandi and the rest of you ladies for your advice and support. Guest guest
Hi Vicky So sorry to hear is suffering. Could it be bacteria rather that yeast? Maybe you need to do a stool test. I would also be tempted to stop the yohurt for a week or so and see if that resolves the problem. Have you just introduced culturelle? If so maybe stop that for a few days too and go back to original probiotic. Hope you sort it soon. Guest guest
No help at all but poor you, I'm really sorry. YOu feel so utterly helpless and out of control when this happens, it's so hard. We have a huge rage before breakfast each morning - no idea why. Smily one minute then real blind fury. Head banging, schreaching and muffled swearing. I'm sure it'll be some bacterial type thing going on - hope it's sorted really soon Steph xx > > Having a tough time here, has gone back to serious headbanging, he > is very purple under the eyes, tearful, and very angry! > Pooh is O.K. no runny stuff and no other signs of yeast, wondering if > it could be too low a dose MB12, other changes were Culturelle and > change from multi flora to probio, any ideas please as I am > rapidly losing it now. > Oh also on his 3rd or 4th week of yoghurt with enzymes as usual, but > maybe there can be a build up??? > Otherwise eating very well, maybe too well, never away from the cooker, > fridge and cupboards. > TIA > Vicky >

Guest guest
Vicky, Sorry to hear about this. My guess would be that Mandi is right, but is there a chance your guy was given something he wasn't supposed to have at school or somewhere else? Something artificial perhaps? Did you check the yogurt carefully (don't mean that to sound insulting but I've made that mistake more than once when I'm in a hurry) for anything not allowed? HOpe all is better very very soon. Guest guest
The most common cause of dark circles under the eyes is an allergy or sensitivity to a particular food, which causes inflammation in the tiny blood vessels under the eyes. Eliminate the shop bought yoghurt for 10 days and see if there is any difference. Have you checked previously for casein allergy? Guest guest
--Hi Vicky, I recently started Klaire Ther Biotic Complete which DrH.recommended but it is causing trouble to my son,I believe.I started half dose,he was more or less Ok still a bit funny(toileting wise!) but full dose(one capsule) he has diarrohea.(sorry if I am wrongly misspelled!) ..In a week ,this is the second time,I just made a link,I think I am right.I am going back to Kirkman's probiogold or Biokult again.Perhaps changing probiotic may be your problem as well..! We also ran out for LDN, he wasn't have any cold while he was on for a month, since we stopped it,he has cold again pairing with diarrohea problem.I don't know if there is a link between! I hope your child will get better soon. Nevin
Guest guest
We had similar problems with Klaire TherBiotic Complete as well. Tom has never had diarrohea but he did with these and was just 'out of sorts'.(Think Dr H is on a Klaire T C and DMSA rec campaign at mo - everyone seems to be getting them!) I put Tom back on CP1 and his tummy is fine again. Vicky - I do hope is ok and life calms down for both of you. So difficult to pin point what it is that triggers these reactions. Guest guest
Thanks for that, we are having the opposite effect unusually hard and dark stools, always tended to the runny, could also be the addition of Culturelle?? To be honest I think it's a combination of everything already suggested. was fine on his old Kirkman multi flora and I will go back to that as soon as they can get it out to me, the bad breath has gone, same as before when we used Culturelle. I think the yogurt probably is an issue even with enzymes, perhaps for some kids there is a tolerance level that just shouldn't be gone beyond, someone already mentioned milk, and yes that was our first noticable intolerance, greatly helped with enzymes but clearly, now in hindsight within reason. Mandi I have managed to get some nasty aggression on film, it's so amazing how our kids are, real Jeckyl and Hyde reactions, if you didn't see it you would never believe it. I think the probio is probably a no no for , Oooh why can't there be a one size fits all for our kids. Will see how today goes but I have to say this has been a real nerve shredder of a few days, feeling decidedly dodgy. Thanks Vicky xx
Guest guest
Sorry just seen this, computer also not feeling very well lol. The only other thing about his diet is constant hunger, his brother also, both are on Culturelle at the moment, has a good diet though and will eat cabbage to a band playing, can not get enough vegetables, how unusual is that in a child, just constantly at me for food, both of them! No other signs of yeast flare up that normally occur with this excessive hunger. Thanks Vicky xx

We used Culturelle before and it gave Sam costipation, a noveltly in this house of squits. I am keeping Culturelle for Mandi Mart and kept a box so I coud take a photo for the site - well, nature called and when I came back I didn't realise Sam had gone off with the box of Culturelle. Letter I discover strip - chewed but not broken and decide we should give them another try. No consitpation ths time but defintely die off - rash from hell, some head butting and implusive behaviour but not too bad - more physcial with the rash and some under eye redness. BTW when we first tried Sacc B he was a nightmare too. What you described before could quite easily have been die off as a result of the new probiotics. I would revisit them again, one at a time and starting very low dose. Sam's reponse to casein infractions was always silly behaviour, spinning, hands on ears giggling, spcaey sort of thing, never agressive. Would that be a normal casein reaction for ? Hope he is better soon - Sam cam out the other side in about 5 days and I have changed my probiotoc protocol to 2 SaccB, 2 CP1, 2 Culturelle per day Mandi x
