Jim, where can one get piracetam? Sound like something I should have on hand

for my teenagers.

  • 3 months later...

Sandy,

I'm 57. I was a lifelong migraine suffer since age five, when my

pituitary was " bruised " from a concussion I experienced when I was hit

by a Cadillac. At many times in my life I have had them 4-7 times a

week.

I NO LONGER HAVE ANY MIGRAINES! I haven't had any in over a year. Only a

few the year before that. I found out what makes them happen. There are

certainly other factors, but the significant one is the only one that

needs addressing: oxygen! I took Homozon for over 4 months. When I

started, I was having migraines 5-6 days a week. They stopped the next

day. When I stopped the Homozon, I had a migraine. So, oxygenation stops

migraines, and with less oxygen, they return.

At that time I found piracetam, a nootropic medicine that acts as an

antioxidant to brain cells, protecting them from hypoxic damage, along

with other wonderful benefits. They allow brain cells to function

normally in a lower oxygen state, which, IMO, is effectively the same as

having more oxygen, in this case.

Piracetam is an alteration of the pyroglutamate molecule, an amino acid

in meat and veggies. Pyroglutamate can also be taken, but I didn't go

that route. It is not as strong as Piracetam. And, there is another

variation of the molecule, Pramiracetam, which is even stronger. I have

taken Pramiracetam for almost 2 years.

I stopped once for 2 months, just on principle, to give my body a rest.

In that time I had a migraine prodrome (the weird visuals without the

headache). That made me decide to end my abstinence. I went back on

prams and I will continue with them until I am fully clean & oxygenated

without them.

I cannot recommend either of these substances to migraine sufferers too

highly! Homozon and either variation of piracetam or pramiracetam WILL

STOP MIGRAINES! There are NO bad side effects of any kind, either way.

I know I am a sample of one, so far. But, I have gone back & forth, and

either method works!

You have to order them from England. You are allowed to buy a 90 day

supply for personal use. I have had several packages arrive with a

sticker on it saying Customs had opened it. It really isn't a problem if

you don't make huge orders. You can find piracetam at http://www.qhi.com

or http://www.nubrain.com I have purchased from both and use QHI

regularly.

These are not take-on-demand drugs. One has to take either 1 piracetam

twice a day, or one pramiracetam once a day. On piracetam, most people

don't notice much, or anything, and it takes a few weeks to notice

anything at all. With pramiracetam, you know the first time what it is

about. I used to recommend one box of prams before the less-expensive

piracetam, so the user will have an idea of what to expect. The only

really noticeable thing is an increased sense of mental clarity.

Piracetam is one of the 5 most investigated pharmaceuticals in the

history of pharmaceuticals. After more than 35 years and billions of

prescriptions, there are no known drug interactions or side effects.

About 2% of users experience mild reactions for the first 2 weeks,

amounting to diarrhea, upset stomach or headache. Pramiracetam has been

on the market for about 14 years with the same safe record.

To be educated on the subject, read Smart Drugs & Nutrients I & II.
