Guest guest
Hi Jo, Thanks for the reply. My Blackstrap bottle is brand name " Plantation " is says on the front " Organic Blackstrap Molasses Unsulphured " the bottle is 15 fl oz (442 ml) One side of the back label says " a significant source of Iron, Calcium and Potassium " it is manufactured by Allied Old English, Inc., in Port Reading, New Jersey, USA. Here are the Nutrition Facts from the other side of the bottle: Serving size 1 tablespoon (21 g) Calories 37 Calories from fat 0 Total Fat 0 Cholesterol 0 Potassium 353mg (equivalent to 12% of daily value) Total carbohydrate 13g (equivalent to 4% of daily value Dietary Fiber 0 Protein 0 Vitamin A 0 Vitamin C 0 Iron 20% Calcium 8% Vitamin B6 10% Magnesium 8% Copper 0 It also notes these values are based on a 2,000 calorie day diet - which my caloric intake is much less. It is certified organic by OAI. Now, another question for you: do you keep yours in the refridegerator? I started doing this mainly because I put everything there once opened but the bottle does not say " Refridegerate after opening " so I wonder if I kept it out of the fridge, but sealed in a plastic bag, it would be OK? It is easier to pour out if not in the fridge. What do you do? ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
I take one tablespoon each morning everyday, it really helps a lot those vitamins in the health shop are nothing! w/ virgin coconut oil. VCO does really has cholesterol, but good one I have been taking this for almost a year now, this soya industry are a bunch of good for nothing just to protect their interest of business, if VCO is really bad then I could be sick right now but instead I feel great as time goes on. I challenge this good for nothing people who does nothing right except discourage simple people who just want to make things right. God bless. jeanne_simons@... wrote: Anyone use blackstrap molasses for anything? Jeanne
Guest guest
Cholesterol is only found in animal fats. You probably mean saturated fat, which is a completely different thing.
