Guest guest
What's the age range of the children and the functioning level? You can find out great info at www.verbalbehaviornetwork.com for instructional materials, workshops you can attend etc. Different Roads to learning has a lot of supplies. THere's a list of places to get reinforcers/therapy materials in the files section of this group too. Guest guest
Hi , If any of them struggle with handwriting, check into "Handwriting without Tears." This is a program that is very successful with many students with autism. Guest guest
I would suggest a “sensory” area where the kids can bounce, swing, etc., if necessary. Sensory activities are very important…. ~Penny ~ JAX Management, Inc. http://www.jaxmgt.com Furthering the cause of Autism Awareness ~~~~~~~~~~~ What would happen if the autism gene was eliminated from the gene pool? Guest guest
Thank you for those who responded to my first posting. I received my class role today and I have eight children ranging in grades from 2- 5. They are of course all functioning below their levels. What are some good activities or resources(books, websites, etc.) that would be of use for me?? thanks for all your help!
