I just bought Dragon Naturally Speaking 8.1 (the standard version for

home users) from Staples.com. I paid $89.99 plus tax, shipping was

free. I am very happy (so far) with the software. The price includes

the necessary microphone. I had it installed, hooked up and working

in about 30 minutes or so.

The cool thing about this program is the " training sessions " where you

read several paragraphs into the mic. This is how the program

" learns " your voice.

I have no experience with the legal and medical versions of

DragonSpeak, but considering that they are much more expensive I would

imagine they have alot of additional features and capabilities.
