Guest guest
, How about going to talk to the Resource Teacher, Principal and any other person involved, and see WHY Adam is not getting the Resource help he needs. Could the Resource Teacher need a fire lit under her bu**? Could she be inexperienced and perhaps need to understand Adam more? Is this smaller school strapped for $? Or other things that I can't think of right now? Is there any chance that if the Resource for Adam isn't enough, would the school send someone to your home to work with him for extra time? Like a tutor/resource person? I know these big wild schools - from your post it sounds like Adam is happy there with his friends and his environment is safe. I know you are probably sick of having meetings with Resource people, teachers, principals, etc., but it seems like if the Resource Teacher knew more/understood/bla bla bla, that it would be the perfect school for Adam. Just my 2 cents. I went to a small school after a large semi-wild middle school, and found the difference to be outstanding. ~ Gretchen
