Guest guest
Happy 7th Birthday to . And thank you Gretchen for going through the birthing process for this great website. You are like our mother, overseeing, encouraging, teaching, etc. Thanks for all the hours you put in to make this a wonderful site. I have a question. After reading several entries from months ago I have looked into the Walk On AFOs. I am thinking of taking the plunge. I wish I could try them out more than walking around in the office for 10 minutes. They are very expensive at $1000 per AFO. My insurance certainly brings that cost down. Does that sound like what others have been charged for them? Do they last forever? Is there anything about using them that I should be aware of? I am excited over the idea that they are much lighter, more flexibility, less skin contact than the molded AFO's I now have, and their thinness so I can use them in shoes close to my actual size. Looking forward to hearing from other Walk On users. Georgia in Oregon
