Guest guest
Hi Donna, BRAVO to you! I wish you all the best on the walk tomorrow. One thing stood out in your post - at the first chance you get to get your orthotics re-checked, please do. If 'something' is not 'quite right' some simple/perhaps small adjustments can be made. This is what I have done in the past - while I didn't walk for charity, I did for exercise, and believe me with all that walking, I learned to tell when something 'isn't quite right' and I'd get an appointment with my orthotist - asap. Sometimes all I needed was a small addition to the heel, or metatarsal support, etc. These orthotics of ours need to be perfect, or our feet will cry! (just how I look at it!) Good luck on all your walking. I'm happy to hear you'll donate to the Neurology Research Foundation. ~ Gretchen
